What Is SCADA?

SCADA stands for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition. It is a category of industrial control system (ICS) used to monitor and control geographically dispersed processes from a centralized location. How SCADA Works

A SCADA system operates through a layered architecture that connects field devices to a central supervisory station:
