How is the Ignition support price calculated?
The support contract price is calculated as a percentage of the initial purchase price of your Ignition license. BasicCare represents +16%, TotalCare +20% and PriorityCare +24% of the annual retail price.
What happens if I don't subscribe to a support contract?
Without a support contract, you won't receive software updates, security patches or technical assistance. Your Ignition license remains functional, but you won't receive new versions.
Can I change my support level during the contract?
Yes, you can upgrade to a higher support level at any time. The change will be prorated over the remaining duration of your annual contract.
Is the support contract mandatory?
No, the support contract is optional. However, it is strongly recommended to ensure the security and longevity of your Ignition installation, especially access to security patches.
What is the support contract duration?
Support contracts are annual and renewable. Renewal can be done before expiration to ensure service continuity.
Does support cover additional modules?
Yes, the support contract covers all Ignition modules included in your license, including additional modules like Perspective, Vision, Reporting, etc.
